ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how children and teenagers with neuromuscular diseases develop both mentally and socially over time. Neuromuscular diseases are conditions that affect the nerves and muscles, making it difficult for the body to move as it should. The study aims to gather information from both past and current experiences of these young patients to understand their neuropsychological (thinking and learning) and psychosocial (emotional and social) growth.
To participate in this study, children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 who have been diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease are eligible. Participants can expect to share their experiences and may undergo assessments that look at how they think, learn, and interact with others. This research will help improve support and care for young people with these conditions, so their development can be better understood and supported.
