ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Institutional Registry of Hip Fracture in the Elderly, is focused on understanding hip fractures in older adults. The main goal is to gather important information about these fractures, including how common they are, the risk factors involved, how they are diagnosed and treated, and the outcomes for patients. Researchers are looking to build a database that will help improve care for elderly patients with hip fractures.
To participate in this study, you need to be over 65 years old and have been admitted to a hospital for a hip fracture. If you choose to join, you'll be asked to provide some information about your health and treatment. The study is currently recruiting participants of all genders. It's important to know that if you decide not to participate or don’t want to give consent, that's completely fine, and it won't affect your care. By joining this study, you could help improve our understanding of hip fractures in older adults and contribute to better treatment options in the future.
