ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to managing lower urinary tract obstruction (LUTO) in unborn babies. LUTO is a condition where there is a blockage in the urinary system, which can affect the baby's health. The researchers aim to create a standardized way to provide prenatal care for these cases based on existing scientific evidence. By collecting and analyzing data from pregnant women whose babies have been diagnosed with LUTO, the team hopes to validate this new management strategy and improve outcomes for these babies.
To participate in the study, pregnant women must have a diagnosis of LUTO, regardless of how far along they are in their pregnancy. However, women whose babies have other serious genetic conditions or additional structural problems not related to LUTO will not be eligible. Participants can expect to receive specialized care and monitoring throughout their pregnancy as part of this study, which is currently recruiting participants. This trial is important as it seeks to enhance care for babies facing this challenging condition and may lead to better health outcomes for them.
