ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called Robot Aided Rehabilitation - Intervention, is focused on helping individuals who have had a stroke. After a stroke, many people experience difficulties with their arm and hand movements due to complex changes in muscle and joint function. The goal of this study is to understand these issues better and to find out how specific types of therapy, including training for the arm versus the hand and passive stretching before active movement, can help improve recovery.
To participate in this trial, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have had your first stroke 1 to 12 months ago, with certain levels of arm and hand impairment. Some key things to note are that participants must not have severe cognitive difficulties or pain in the shoulder, and should not be involved in other rehabilitation studies at the same time. If you join the study, you can expect to receive targeted treatment aimed at improving your arm and hand function with the help of robotic technology. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome regardless of gender.
