**Clinical Trial Summary: Next Generation CT Reconstruction (NextGenIR)**
This clinical trial is studying new ways to perform CT scans that use less radiation while still providing clear images of the body. CT scans are common imaging tests that help doctors see inside the body, but there's concern about the potential health risks from the radiation used in these scans. The goal of this trial is to find out if these newer, low-radiation CT imaging methods can produce pictures that are just as good as those created by traditional CT scans.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be adults aged 18 and older who need a CT scan of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis with a special dye called contrast. During the trial, participants will have a standard CT scan and one additional scan using the new low-radiation method. They might also need to give a small blood sample to ensure it's safe for them to receive the contrast. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity for those who are scheduled for a CT scan to contribute to important research that could improve medical imaging in the future. If you have any questions or think you might be eligible, please talk to your healthcare provider.
