ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the causes of various skin diseases, which can affect people in many ways and sometimes lead to serious health issues. The researchers aim to find better treatments by collecting samples from participants, including blood, stool, and skin samples. Both individuals with skin conditions and healthy volunteers aged 2 and older can take part in this study. Family members of those with skin diseases are also welcomed to join.
If you choose to participate, you will first have a medical history taken and a physical exam, including a detailed skin check. You may be asked to complete a survey about how your skin condition affects your daily life. Participants may need to provide several types of samples and might have up to four skin biopsies within a year, where a small piece of skin is gently removed for testing. This study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone can contribute to important research that could improve skin health for many people.
