ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how laparoscopic surgery, a minimally invasive procedure, can improve the quality of life for women suffering from severe recto-vaginal endometriosis. This condition happens when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows in the area between the rectum and vagina, which can cause significant pain and other issues. The study aims to understand how women feel after having surgery to remove this tissue and what impact it has on their daily lives.
To be part of this trial, you need to be a woman planning to have surgery for severe endometriosis that affects the bowel. Unfortunately, if you choose not to complete the questionnaires used in the study, or if you prefer not to have your anonymous data analyzed, you won’t be able to participate. If you join, you can expect to fill out some surveys before and after your surgery to help researchers learn more about your experience and how it changes your quality of life. This information could help improve future treatments for women with similar conditions.
