ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding early onset enteropathies, which are conditions that cause severe intestinal problems in young children, particularly those who show symptoms within the first six years of life. The researchers want to learn more about the genetic and physical characteristics of these patients by collecting blood samples from them and their healthy family members. This information could help identify the causes of these conditions and improve future treatments.
To participate in this study, patients must have severe chronic intestinal issues that started at a young age, or they need to be a family member of someone affected, even if their symptoms appeared later. The study is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders. If you decide to join, you can expect to provide a blood sample, and your involvement will contribute to important research that could benefit others facing similar health challenges in the future. It's important to note that individuals who have recently participated in other clinical trials are not eligible for this study.
