Pulp Vitality Pulp Testing

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at three different tests that can help determine if the nerves in your teeth are still alive and healthy, which is important when considering treatments for dental issues. The study will focus on how well a new test using laser technology compares to two existing methods: electric pulp testing and cold testing. Researchers want to find out how accurate each test is in identifying tooth vitality, which can guide better treatment decisions.

To participate in this study, you need to have teeth that require endodontic treatment, commonly known as a root canal, and be willing to spend an extra 20 minutes undergoing two additional tests. There are no special groups targeted for this study, meaning anyone meeting the criteria can join. If you decide to take part, you'll be helping researchers understand which tests work best to keep your teeth healthy.
