ClinConnect Summary
The HealthEast Community Hip and Knee Replacement Registry is a study designed to improve the care of patients undergoing hip and knee replacement surgeries. Since its start in 1991, this registry has collected information from over 30,000 joint replacement surgeries to help doctors and the medical community understand how to provide better treatment and outcomes for patients. This trial is currently recruiting participants who are between the ages of 65 and 74 and have had total hip or knee replacement surgeries at a HealthEast hospital.
If you or someone you know is considering joint replacement surgery at a HealthEast facility, you could be eligible to join this important study. Participants will help contribute to valuable data that can enhance surgical care for future patients. This research is part of a larger national effort to improve orthopedic science and ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care. If you meet the age and procedure criteria, joining this registry could mean playing a role in advancing joint replacement treatments for everyone.
