ClinConnect Summary
This study is an observational registry called IBD Qorus. It aims to build an Inflammatory Bowel Disease Learning Health System by collecting health information from adults with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or other inflammatory bowel diseases. Researchers will gather patient-reported outcomes and medical data from many U.S. care sites into a shared registry (IBD Plexus) and create real-time dashboards and reports to help patients and their clinicians plan care and support research. It’s about learning how to improve care over time, not testing a new medicine or device.
Who can join? Adults 18 to 99 years old with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or IBD unclassified, who are treated at a participating IBD Qorus site and can give informed consent. Enrollment is by invitation, and participants will contribute health information through online tools and surveys that you can share securely with your care team. Participants are followed for up to 20 years, with key information checked annually for the first five years, including how many are in remission, steroid use, ER visits, hospitalizations, and problems like anemia or malnutrition. There are many participating centers across the United States. As of now, no results are available from this study.
