ClinConnect Summary
The PArADIsE trial is studying how patients with sudden breathing difficulties, known as acute dyspnea, are treated in the emergency department at the CHRU of Nancy hospital. Researchers want to understand the outcomes for these patients after they receive care from the medical team at the hospital. This study is observational, meaning it looks back at the care that has already been provided, rather than providing new treatments.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have experienced acute dyspnea while being treated by the emergency team at the CHRU of Nancy. However, if you had a serious condition like cardiorespiratory arrest (which is when the heart and breathing stop) before receiving care, you won't be eligible. If you join, you can expect your medical information to be reviewed to help the researchers learn how to improve care for future patients with similar issues. The study is currently recruiting participants, and all genders are welcome to take part.
