ClinConnect Summary

The Italian Network MDS Registry is a clinical trial that aims to gather important information about adult patients who have recently been diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). MDS are a group of diseases that affect how blood cells are made in the bone marrow, leading to problems like anemia or increased risk of infections. This study is currently looking for participants, specifically adults aged between 65 and 74, who have just received their diagnosis of MDS.

To take part in this trial, patients need to be newly diagnosed with MDS and must agree to participate by signing an informed consent form. Those who do not wish to sign this consent will not be eligible. Participants will help researchers collect valuable data that can improve our understanding of MDS, and they may also benefit from being part of a larger community of patients facing similar challenges. Overall, this trial is an important step in learning more about MDS and potentially improving future treatments.
