ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how the timing of meals, along with genetics, affects weight loss and obesity in people from Mediterranean backgrounds. Researchers have found that when people eat their main meal—like lunch—can impact their ability to lose weight and how their bodies respond to insulin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar. This study aims to understand better how these factors work together and how they can help improve weight loss strategies.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 25, and be of Caucasian descent. Unfortunately, if you have certain health conditions like diabetes, cancer, or are taking specific medications, you might not be eligible. If you join, you'll be contributing to important research that could lead to better weight loss methods tailored to our eating habits and genetics!
