ClinConnect Summary
The Crnic Institute Human Trisome Project Biobank is a research study aimed at improving our understanding of Down syndrome, also known as Trisomy 21. This project will collect biological samples from individuals with and without Down syndrome to help speed up research and discover more about related health conditions. The study is currently looking for participants aged between 6 months and 89 years old. You can join if you have Down syndrome or if you do not have the condition.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to provide biological samples, which will be kept anonymous, meaning your personal information will not be shared. This is a great opportunity to contribute to important research that could help many people with Down syndrome and their families. However, please note that prisoners and individuals under state care cannot participate.
