ClinConnect Summary

The Will Erwin Headache Research Center is conducting a study to better understand cluster headaches and related conditions, which are types of severe headaches that often occur in groups or clusters. This research aims to gather important information from participants who have been diagnosed with specific headache disorders, including cluster headaches and trigeminal neuralgia, a condition that causes sharp facial pain. The study is currently looking for people aged 18 and older who meet the criteria for these headaches and can share their medical records.

If you decide to participate, you will be part of a group where your experiences and health information will be observed to help researchers learn more about these painful conditions. It’s important to know that if you have certain serious health problems or substance use issues, you may not be eligible for the study. Additionally, healthy volunteers aged 18 and above are also welcome to participate. This study is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could improve the understanding and treatment of these challenging headaches.
