ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how treating an infection caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) affects stomach health over the long term. H. pylori is very common and can lead to serious issues like stomach inflammation, ulcers, and even stomach cancer if left untreated. The researchers want to see if getting rid of this bacteria helps prevent further damage to the stomach and reduces the risk of these serious conditions.
To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 18 and 65 and have an active H. pylori infection. Unfortunately, people with certain health issues, such as severe stomach problems or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, cannot join. If you qualify and choose to participate, you will undergo tests and treatments aimed at eradicating the H. pylori infection, and you will be monitored over time to see how your stomach health changes. This research could provide valuable insights into preventing serious stomach diseases related to H. pylori.
