ClinConnect Summary
The Proton Therapy Patient Registry is a study aimed at collecting information about patients who receive proton beam radiation therapy at the University Hospitals Proton Therapy Center. By creating this database, researchers hope to better understand how well this treatment works for different patients over time. This study is currently looking for participants of all ages who have been treated with proton therapy and can understand and sign a consent form to participate.
If you or a family member have received proton therapy at this center, you might be eligible to join the registry. Participants will help researchers track the outcomes of proton therapy, which means sharing information about their treatment and health over time. It's important to note that patients who cannot understand the consent form will not be able to participate. This study will not only help improve future treatments but also contribute to the overall knowledge of proton therapy's effectiveness.
