ClinConnect Summary
The clinical trial titled "COMParison of Algorithms for Rotational Evaluation in Atrial Fibrillation" is studying different methods to better understand and map a heart condition called atrial fibrillation, which is when the heart beats irregularly. The researchers want to see how well these methods can detect specific types of heart activity that could help guide treatment. This study is currently looking for participants, specifically adults aged 21 to 80 who are preparing for a procedure called electrophysiology study to treat their atrial fibrillation.
If you decide to participate, you will be part of a group that helps evaluate these mapping techniques. The goal is to improve how doctors understand and treat abnormal heart rhythms. It’s important to note that if the quality of your heart recordings is poor, you may not be able to take part in the study. Overall, this trial aims to enhance care for people with atrial fibrillation by finding the best ways to analyze heart activity.
