ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how families make decisions about treating Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS), a condition that affects the curved spine in teenagers. The researchers are conducting a survey to gather information about what factors influence these decisions, such as whether to observe the condition, use a brace, or opt for surgery. The goal is to use the findings to create a decision-making tool that will help families choose the best treatment option for their child.
To participate in the trial, you or your child must be at least 13 years old and have previously received treatment for AIS. The study is currently recruiting participants of all genders. If you join, you will complete a survey that will contribute to important research aimed at improving the support families receive when faced with treatment choices for scoliosis. Your input can help shape a valuable resource for other families in similar situations.
