ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how different treatments for varicose veins in the legs work. Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins that can cause discomfort and other issues. The study is collecting information from patients who are receiving various treatments, including traditional surgery, a procedure that uses heat to close off veins, and a method that involves injecting a solution into the veins. The goal is to learn more about these treatments and how effective they are for people with varicose veins.
If you are between the ages of 65 and 74 and have been diagnosed with varicose veins that cause blood to flow backward in your veins (which is classified as C2 to C6 in a system called CEAP), you may be eligible to participate. There are no specific exclusions, meaning almost anyone with these conditions can join. Participants will have the chance to receive one of the treatments and will help researchers gather valuable information. This trial is currently looking for more volunteers, so it’s a great opportunity to contribute to the understanding of varicose vein treatments.
