ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help people who suffer from specific types of pain, particularly neuropathic pain (which comes from nerve damage) and chronic pain after surgery. The researchers want to understand how a particular channel in our nerves, called NaV1.7, affects pain sensations. By studying this, they hope to find better treatments for those struggling with these kinds of pain.

To join the trial, participants need to be between 65 and 74 years old and should have either neuropathic pain or chronic pain from surgery. However, individuals with severe psychiatric disorders or other neurological conditions unrelated to pain will not be eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect to undergo assessments related to your pain, and you'll be contributing to important research that could help many others in the future. This study is currently recruiting participants, so now might be a good time to consider getting involved.
