ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing a new way to recognize acromegaly, a condition that causes abnormal growth due to excess growth hormone. Researchers will use 3D photography to compare the facial features of people with acromegaly to those of healthy individuals. The goal is to create a computerized system that can help identify acromegaly early, which is important for starting treatment sooner.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 20 and 80 years old and either have acromegaly or be a healthy adult. Unfortunately, pregnant individuals and those outside the age range cannot take part. If you join the trial, you can expect to have your facial features photographed using 3D technology, which is painless and non-invasive. This study is currently looking for participants, and your involvement could contribute to better screening methods for acromegaly, potentially helping many people in the future.
