ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, titled "Diagnosis of Tuberculosis in Swiss Children," is focused on improving how we detect tuberculosis (TB) in children. Researchers are testing new tests that can help identify TB disease more accurately. They are also looking for specific markers that can help distinguish between children who have been exposed to TB and those who actually have the disease.

The trial is open to all children and adolescents under 18 years old who are being checked for TB exposure or infection. However, children who are already receiving treatment for TB or who have been treated in the past cannot participate. If eligible, participants can expect to undergo some tests to help researchers understand how to improve TB diagnosis in young people. This study is currently recruiting participants, so there is an opportunity to contribute to better TB detection methods for children in the future.
