ClinConnect Summary
The International Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG)/Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) Registry and Repository is a clinical trial aimed at understanding more about DIPG and DMG tumors. These are types of brain tumors that can be very challenging to treat. The goal of this study is to collect important information and samples, like tissue from tumors, from patients diagnosed with these conditions. By gathering this information, researchers hope to learn how these tumors behave on a biological level. This will help improve diagnosis and treatment options in the future, as well as enable scientists around the world to collaborate more effectively.
Anyone diagnosed with a DIPG or DMG tumor—whether currently receiving treatment or previously diagnosed—is welcome to participate in this study. Participants, or their guardians if they are minors, will need to provide consent for their information and samples to be used in research. By joining this registry, participants can help contribute to a better understanding of these tumors, which may lead to new treatments and improved care for patients in the future. It's important to note that this study is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders.
