ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) in patients who have received a lung transplant. SDB is when a person stops breathing for short periods during sleep, which can lead to daytime tiredness and affect their quality of life. As more people live longer after organ transplants, understanding how SDB impacts them has become increasingly important, especially since many experience weight gain and other health issues that could worsen sleep problems.
To participate in this study, you must be at least one year post-lung transplant and be willing to undergo a sleep study called polysomnography (PSG), which measures your sleep patterns. The trial is open to both men and women aged 65 to 74. If you choose to join, you'll help researchers learn more about how SDB affects lung transplant patients, which may lead to better care and treatment options in the future.
