ClinConnect Summary
The French National Observatory on Infective Endocarditis is a study aimed at gathering important information about a serious heart infection called infective endocarditis. This trial will create a national database by collecting data from various medical centers across France. By using standardized forms, researchers will look at how this infection affects patients, what germs cause it, how it is treated, and what factors might influence a patient's recovery. This study is currently recruiting participants to help improve our understanding and management of infective endocarditis.
To join this study, participants need to be adults who are treated at one of the participating medical centers and diagnosed with either definite or possible infective endocarditis based on specific criteria. Additionally, they must be registered with the French social security system. If you agree to participate, you will be helping researchers learn more about this condition, which could lead to better treatments in the future. It's important to note that if a patient does not want to take part, they will not be included in the study.
