Posture Correction Girdle

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new type of posture correction girdle designed specifically for teenage girls who have early-stage scoliosis, a condition where the spine curves abnormally. The researchers want to see if this girdle can help improve posture and prevent the scoliosis from getting worse. The trial is looking for participants who are diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), have a spinal curve between 10° and 20°, and are either just starting their menstrual cycle or have had it for less than a year.

If your daughter meets these criteria, she may be eligible to join the study. Participants will wear the girdle as part of the trial and are expected to follow specific guidelines to ensure its effectiveness. This is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could help other teenagers with similar spinal issues. It's important to note that this trial is focused only on girls and excludes those with other spine conditions or previous treatments for scoliosis. If you’re interested, you can learn more about how to participate and what the experience will be like.
