ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how different sedative medications—midazolam, dexmedetomidine, and propofol—affect the way the brain connects and communicates while a person is sedated. The goal is to understand how these medications work in the brain, which can help improve sedation practices for patients in the future.

To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy male volunteer or a male patient with a brain tumor, aged between 18 and 65 years old. You should also be able to read and understand the study information and provide your consent to participate. If you have certain medical conditions, a history of significant anesthesia-related issues, or feel anxious in tight spaces (claustrophobia), you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo some tests to see how these medications affect your brain while you are sedated. This research could help enhance safety and effectiveness in sedation for various medical procedures.
