ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how the immune system responds after patients receive stem cell transplants from donors. Specifically, researchers want to understand the different types of immune cells present in the stem cell grafts and how these cells affect the patients' recovery after the transplant. They will also examine how changes in gut bacteria might influence the immune response and the overall health of the patients following the transplant.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be either patients at the Nancy Hospital who are scheduled to receive a stem cell transplant or healthy individuals who are donating their stem cells. However, people who are HIV positive or have active hepatitis B or C infections cannot participate. Those who join the study can expect to help researchers gather important information that may improve outcomes for future transplant patients.
