ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Registry of Device Implantation, is studying the safety and effectiveness of devices that are implanted in the body to help manage heart conditions like syncope (fainting), slow heart rate (bradycardia), fast heart rate (tachycardia), and more serious issues like sudden cardiac death. These devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators, have been used for many years and are continually being improved. The goal of this trial is to gather information that can help doctors understand which patients might benefit the most from these devices and to identify any potential complications that could arise from the procedures.
If you're between the ages of 65 and 74 and have a history of heart problems, you might be eligible to participate. To join, you'll need to provide a detailed medical history and undergo some tests to evaluate your heart function and overall health. As a participant, you can expect to help contribute to important research that could lead to better care for patients with heart conditions in the future. It's important to note that you will need to give your written consent to participate in this trial.
