ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how rehabilitation after a traumatic brain injury or stroke affects patients in the long run. Researchers want to see if the benefits of rehabilitation continue even after patients leave the program. They are currently recruiting participants aged 65 to 74, and both men and women are welcome to join. To be eligible, individuals must have experienced a traumatic brain injury or stroke and be able to communicate in English.
Participants will undergo assessments to understand their recovery and any lasting effects from their injury or stroke. It's important to note that those with certain pre-existing conditions, like degenerative neurological diseases or serious mental health issues, will not be included in the study. By taking part in this trial, participants can help contribute to our understanding of recovery after these serious health events, potentially benefiting future patients.
