ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether listening to music before and after surgery can help reduce anxiety, pain, and the need for pain medications in patients. The researchers believe that music could be a simple and cost-effective way to improve recovery and overall satisfaction for patients undergoing various types of surgeries, including gynecologic procedures and cesarean sections.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be generally healthy women who are scheduled for day surgery and do not have major health issues that could affect their breathing or ability to understand questions about anxiety. If you decide to take part, you can expect to listen to music during your hospital stay and share your experiences regarding pain and anxiety levels. This trial is currently looking for participants, so if you meet the criteria, you might have an opportunity to contribute to a study that could benefit future patients.
