ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the outcomes of surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which is a key ligament in the knee that can be injured during sports or other activities. The goal of the study is to see how well patients recover over time after their surgery. Researchers will check in with participants at several points—before the surgery, and then again at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 5 years afterwards. They will ask questions about how the knee feels and perform tests to see how stable it is.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 60 years old and must be planning to have ACL surgery. They also need to understand the study and give their consent to participate. Throughout the trial, participants can expect regular follow-ups, either in person or by phone, to track their recovery and any changes in their knee function. This study aims to help improve understanding of recovery from ACL surgery, which can lead to better treatment options for future patients.
