ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new computer program designed to improve the way doctors perform a specific procedure called endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) for patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). An AAA is a bulge in the aorta, the large blood vessel that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body, which can be life-threatening if it ruptures. The researchers aim to create a more accurate and real-time way to guide doctors during the repair by using special imaging techniques and computer models that are tailored to each patient's unique anatomy.
To participate in this trial, patients must have a medical need for the EVAR procedure and meet certain criteria shown through a preoperative CT scan. They should also be able to give their consent to participate. However, patients with certain conditions, like severe kidney problems or allergies to contrast dye used in imaging, may not be eligible. Those who take part can expect to contribute to important research that could lead to better treatment options for future patients with similar conditions.
