ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different treatments for prostate cancer, specifically focusing on a variety of targeted therapies, such as high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), cryotherapy, and laser treatments. The goal is to gather information on how these treatments are working and their outcomes for patients. The trial is currently recruiting male participants between the ages of 65 and 74, who are either starting a new treatment for prostate cancer or have already had one of these focused therapies in the past.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be over 18 years old and undergoing or have previously received a focal therapy for prostate cancer. However, those with advanced cancer that has spread, or who cannot complete an English-language questionnaire, will not be able to join. If you participate, you can expect to provide information about your treatment experience, which will help researchers understand how these therapies are affecting patients with prostate cancer. This study is important as it aims to improve treatment options and outcomes for men facing this condition.
