ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new type of seating cushion designed for veterans who use wheelchairs full-time. The cushions are personalized and created specifically for each user to help improve comfort and prevent skin problems. Over the course of two weeks, 30 veterans will try out these cushions, and researchers will keep track of how well they work, how satisfied the users are, and how they affect the users' daily activities and skin health.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be veterans with mobility impairments who need to use a power or manual wheelchair all the time. They should also be able to sit in their wheelchair for at least four hours a day. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to ensure that the personalized cushions provide good value and improve the overall quality of life for those involved.
