ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how well a special foot support device (called an orthosis) combined with toe walking exercises can help people with a condition known as pes planus, or flat feet. Currently, there isn’t a clear understanding of the best way to treat this condition, so the researchers want to see if this combination of treatments can make a difference.
If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with pes planus and has a specific foot angle (less than 15 degrees), you might be eligible to participate in this study. The trial is open to all genders and is currently recruiting participants. Those with certain health issues like nerve problems, infections, or a history of certain surgeries won't be able to join. Participants can expect to engage in the prescribed exercises and wear the orthosis as part of their treatment. This could be a great opportunity to contribute to understanding how to better manage pes planus!
