ClinConnect Summary
The Vienna Vascular Liver Disease Study is a clinical trial designed to better understand various vascular liver diseases, such as Portal Vein Thrombosis and Budd-Chiari Syndrome. The researchers aim to learn about the causes, risk factors, and how well the liver is functioning in patients with these conditions. They will also look for new ways to measure liver health through tests on blood, urine, and other samples. This study is open to adults aged 18 to 100 who have been diagnosed with a vascular liver disease through imaging tests or liver tissue samples, and participants will need to give their written consent to join.
If you decide to participate, you can expect to undergo various evaluations to assess your liver health and blood clotting status. The findings from this study could lead to a better understanding of these diseases and potentially improve future treatments. It’s important to note that this trial is currently recruiting participants, and anyone who decides to join will be contributing valuable information that could help others facing similar health issues.
