ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a new type of telephone education for patients undergoing day surgery. The goal is to see how this patient-centered education can help improve patients' health experiences and reduce healthcare costs. In this trial, participants will be divided into two groups: one group will receive the usual information about day surgery, while the other group will get special telephone education designed to meet their needs before and after the surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 18 and 64 years old, should come to the surgery from home, and be able to answer questions independently. Those over 65, requiring care after surgery, or coming from a care facility are not eligible. Participants can expect to receive personalized support through phone calls, which may help them feel more informed and comfortable during their surgery journey. The trial is not yet recruiting, so there is still time to consider participation.
