This clinical trial is studying how surgery for deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) affects the quality of life and fertility of women. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside of it, which can cause severe pain and problems with getting pregnant. The trial aims to gather information from women undergoing surgery for DIE at a hospital in Lyon, France, to better understand how the surgery impacts their pain levels, daily life, and chances of having children.
Women aged 18 and older who are scheduled for surgery to treat deep endometriosis may be eligible to participate. Those who do not require surgery or have a different condition called isolated adenomyosis will not be included. Participants will complete surveys before their surgery and at one, two, and five years afterward to share their experiences. This study will help gather important information that could lead to better treatment recommendations for women facing this challenging condition.
