ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective home-based pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) is compared to hospital-based PR for patients with bronchiectasis, a lung condition that makes it hard to breathe. The goal is to find out which method helps patients improve their lung function and overall health better. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 18 to 70 who have been diagnosed with bronchiectasis and are stable, meaning their condition is not worsening.

If you or a family member are considering participation, you should know that you need to be able to sign a consent form and meet certain health criteria. For example, those with severe heart issues or other medical conditions that could hinder exercise won't be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in rehabilitation activities either at home or in a hospital setting, depending on the group they are assigned to. This research will help doctors understand the best ways to support patients with bronchiectasis in managing their condition effectively.
