ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding Extramammary Paget's Disease (EMPD), a rare skin condition that affects areas like the vulva and perianal region. The researchers aim to learn more about how different treatments work for this disease and will collect tissue samples and swabs from participants. They want to study the microorganisms that live on the skin near the affected areas to gain better insights into EMPD and its effects.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be female, at least 18 years old, and have been diagnosed with either primary or recurrent EMPD in the vulva or around the anus. Those who join the study will provide signed consent and may undergo some tests and procedures to help researchers gather important information. This study is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should consult with their healthcare provider to see if they qualify.
