ClinConnect Summary
The CUHK Brain Health Longitudinal Study is a research project aimed at understanding brain health over time, particularly in people who have experienced strokes or are at high risk for brain diseases like dementia and Alzheimer’s. The study will gather information through medical records, questionnaires, and phone interviews to identify factors that may lead to these conditions. By doing this, researchers hope to find effective ways to help people maintain and improve their brain health.
Adults aged 18 and older are eligible to participate, especially those who either have a diagnosed neurological or psychiatric condition, are at high risk due to family history or other medical findings, or are simply interested in learning about ways to protect their brain health. Participants will need to be willing to complete health questionnaires and stay involved in the study over time. There are no specific exclusions, so if you meet the criteria, you may join the study and contribute to important research that could benefit many individuals in the future.
