ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how satisfied women are with using a pessary, which is a device inserted into the vagina to help manage genital prolapse. Genital prolapse is a condition where the pelvic organs slip down and may cause discomfort or other issues. The researchers want to find out how satisfied patients are with the pessary during the first year after they start using it. Previous studies show that satisfaction rates with pessaries can be as high as 80%, and they generally have few complications.
To participate in this study, women must be over 18 years old, speak French, and have a diagnosed symptomatic genital prolapse. Unfortunately, women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, minors, or unable to understand the study due to cognitive issues cannot take part. If selected, participants will provide feedback about their experiences with the pessary, helping researchers understand its effectiveness and how it can improve women's lives.
