ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), which are abnormal connections between blood vessels in the brain. These AVMs can cause serious problems, including hemorrhagic strokes, which happen when blood leaks into the brain. The researchers want to understand how these malformations can lead to bleeding, particularly focusing on small blood vessels around the AVMs and how certain immune cells and platelets might be involved.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a cerebral AVM that may require treatment or monitoring. Parents can also enroll their children, but they will need to provide consent for their participation. If you join the trial, you can expect to undergo assessments related to your condition, which may help improve understanding and treatment for future patients. It's important to note that pregnant or breastfeeding women and those under legal protection cannot participate.
