ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different online support groups on Facebook to see if they can help people with melanoma and their families do better skin examinations. One group focuses on melanoma awareness specifically for young people and their families, while the other promotes healthy lifestyle choices. The goal is to help both patients and their family members improve their skin checks, perform self-examinations, and adopt better sun protection habits.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 39 years old, have been diagnosed with stage 0 to 3 melanoma in the last five years, and have completed treatment at least three months ago. You should also have access to a computer, internet, and a Facebook account. Additionally, a family member must join the study with you, and they should not have a personal history of melanoma. Participants can expect to engage with others online, learn more about skin health, and receive support throughout the study. It’s a great opportunity to take an active role in skin health for yourself and your loved ones.
