ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is creating a registry for people living with type 1 diabetes in Canada. The main goal of this study is to understand how often and how severely people experience episodes of low blood sugar, also known as hypoglycemia. If you join this registry, you will fill out questionnaires about your experiences with low blood sugar, including how often it happens, your symptoms, your feelings about these episodes, and what might be causing them, such as your insulin use, diet, and exercise habits.
To participate, you need to have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and live in Canada. The study is open to everyone regardless of age or gender. There are three phases to this registry, with the first phase being required for all participants and the other two being optional. By joining, you can help researchers gather important information that may improve the understanding and management of type 1 diabetes for everyone.
