ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how financial coaching provided in a medical clinic can help improve the health and quality of life for parents, as well as support child development for families with young children. Specifically, the study will focus on families with children who are 4 months old or younger and are receiving care at the Harbor-UCLA medical center. The goal is to see if helping parents manage their financial challenges can lead to better health outcomes for both them and their kids.
To be eligible for this study, parents or caregivers must have a child who is 4 months old or younger and be receiving care at the clinic. However, the study will not include individuals who have cognitive impairments or those who do not speak English or Spanish. Participants will receive financial coaching while also being part of the pediatric care program, and researchers will track how this support affects their overall well-being and family needs. This is an exciting opportunity for families to gain resources that could make a real difference in their lives.
