ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how two different support programs can help patients who have been newly diagnosed with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). The researchers want to understand the physical and emotional challenges these patients face after their diagnosis and surgery. They will compare two programs: one led by nurses that offers personal support and education, and another that uses a mobile app to provide information and counseling. There will also be a control group that receives standard care. The goal is to find out which support method is most effective in reducing distress and improving the quality of life for patients.
To participate in this study, you must be a newly diagnosed DTC patient who has had total thyroid surgery. If you are interested, you can expect to take part in assessments at different times over a year, including before and after the support programs. This research aims to better understand the needs of DTC patients and identify the best ways to support them during their recovery. Your participation could help improve care for future patients facing similar challenges.
